So herein we have given a list of some prominent states and what facilities a state offers to its applicants and also the department where one needs to go file such online filings.

Arkansas- In this state, the Secretary of state accepts online business filings but after getting the appropriate information. For the help of business minded people it also maintains a dedicated database of all the nonprofit and business corporations, insurance companies, co-operatives, trademarks and notaries.

California- Here the office of the secretary of state offers electronic filing of the statement of officer forms. Also the Business portal of this office maintains database of corporate, LLC's and limited partnerships. Here, while filing online one has to make all payments by credit card.

Colorado- Earlier this state only had the facility of online subscription called the Direct Access Service, but now they have also developed facilities that make people access the names of various trademarks and business entities. Besides, it can also enable the access to the UCS and EFS records.

Connecticut- Here the facility for online filing is called the Concord on the Net. But this is open from 7AM to 11PM only.

Delaware- Here the facility that accepts UCC 1 and 3 filings is called the Division of Corporations.

Florida- Sunbiz is the name of the online facility that accepts LLC, corporate, limited partnership and judgment lien filings. But for this one needs to have a Sunbiz E-File account. This Sunbiz also offers a database and helps in searching records of corporations, Limited and general companies, LLC's, Trademarks and so on.

Georgia- In the Secretary of state corporations, Division of state is the body that accepts online incorporations and also process requests for registration renewals, certificates, reservations and status certificates. It also offers a database of different business entities.

Hawaii- Here the e-Government Services is the body that offers online registrations, helps in searching business entities and also issues certificates of good standing.

Idaho- In this state, searching for a business entity is easier as one can get information by various criteria such as name, addresses, date of origination, filing number and so on, apart from offering the online filing facility.

Illinois- The Secretary of State Business Services page offers the facilities of corporate and online filing and also online search of LLC, corporations and other business entities.

Indiana- Secretary of States Business Services Division is the body that deals with Business filing online as well as provides databases of various business entities. Also, here one can get the list of new corporations that register every month, certificates of Authorization or Existence, UCC records and so on. But for each service, one has to pay a nominal fee.
